The following terms and conditions ("the terms") apply to the use of the Advanced Rackets website. By accessing and/or placing an order on this website, you agree to be bound by the terms. Use of the website indicates acceptance of the terms, regardless of whether you register or place an order on the website. If you do not accept the terms, please do not use the website.

ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE AND REVISIONS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Certain features and parts of the website are only accessible after registering. We will do everything possible to ensure the website is available and accessible, however, due to the nature and complexity of the Internet, we cannot guarantee this. We reserve the right to suspend access to part, or the entirety, of the website and features contained within it to perform maintenance, update or add prices and products, conduct repairs, or add new features and services. In the event of abuse of the terms, we reserve the right to suspend, either temporarily or permanently, your registered account.

USER ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION

You must be over the age of 18 to register on the Advanced Rackets website. Each account is for the use of a single user. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by a third party gaining access to your account. Do not share your username or password with anyone, and please create a strong password that is difficult to guess. If a third party knows your password or has gained access to your account, please contact us as soon as possible.

When registering for a user account, your real name, address, and valid contact information must be provided. If there is any change to your details, please update your account to reflect them. It is important to keep these details up to date so we can contact you regarding your order. Please ensure that the email address that you register with is your own email address that only you can access. If you would like to change the email address that is associated with your account, please contact us.

PRICING

All prices displayed are inclusive of the current VAT rate, where applicable. We reserve the right to display prices of exclusive of VAT, but will include it seperately and as part of the total price.

DELIVERY AND AVAILABILITY

We will dispatch items as soon as all items in your order are ready, as detailed on our delivery information page. We aim to deliver your goods to you 2-3 working days after dispatch, but they may arrive up to fourteen working days after dispatch. If your order has not arrived in this time, please contact us with your order number on hand to quote.

Please note that personalising a racket you purchase, either by selecting a grip or string upgrade, can add up to 7 extra days on the delivery estimate.

For products that come in a variety of colours (as indicated by 'colour may vary' or 'assorted colours' on the product page), you may request a preference for a specific colour when you place your order by leaving a note in the comments box. We will endeavour to dispatch the colour preference you request, or the closest match to that colour, but this is not always possible. Please note that indicating a colour preference does not guarantee you will receive the product in the indicated colour. When the indicated colour or a close match is unavailable, we will dispatch an alternative colour instead unless you expressly state in the comments box that you require a specific colour. If you expressly request a colour that is not available, we will notify you a process a refund.

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND EXCHANGE

For all returns, please send to the aforementioned address marked as "Advanced Rackets Returns".

Your right to cancel begins the day that the contract is concluded and ends 7 working days after you recieve your goods. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you must notify YC Sports in writing within the aforementioned period. Cancellation is accepted on the day notification is posted, you may wish to send the notification through a recorded delivery service. You can also notify by fax, email, or by personally delivering the notification to our trading premises.

Please be aware that if goods have been personalised or customised to your own specifications (including a grip or string upgrade) or have been specially ordered they cannot be returned under any circumstance unless they have been received damaged or faulty.

Goods must be returned unused and unmarked. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are returned in a condition contrary to the aforementioned stipulations (your statutory rights are not affected). Please return goods in their original packaging. You will have to pay for the return of any goods cancelled and we recommend that a recorded delivery service is used. We cannot be held responsible for any packages lost while in transit to us. Alternatively any returns can be delivered by hand to our trading premise. Exhange requests are subject to stock availability - if the item you would like to exchange is unavailable, we will instead issue a refund to your card. If the item/s you request for an exchange exceed the value of the item/s returned to us, we will contact you to arrange payment of the difference in value, in addition to an additional delivery charge if applicable.

FAULTY AND DAMAGED GOODS

We believe that the goods we sell are of a high standard of quality, but on the rare occassion that you receive goods damaged or faulty (or a fault develops), please send the goods to the aforementioned address marked as "Advanced Rackets Returns".

For goods that are received damaged or faulty, please notify us within 7 working days of receiving your goods. We will pay for the collection of the faulty/damaged goods or reimburse any reasonable shipping costs (not premium postage services) incurred to you if we receive the goods within 10 working days of you receiving your goods. Goods must be received within 28 days of notification. When we receive the goods, they will be inspected for faults and be refunded, replaced or repaired as appropriate. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are deemed not to be faulty or damaged or are deemed to have been damaged by misuse of the product. In this circumstance, your goods will be returned to you. The return shipping costs must be paid by you (your statutory rights will not be affected). Alternatively you may collect the goods from our trading premises.

For goods that develop a fault over time, please send the goods to us via a recorded delivery service. When we receive the goods, they will be inspected for faults and be repaired, replaced or refunded (including reasonable shipping costs i.e. not premium postage services) as appropriate. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are deemed not to be faulty or are deemed to have been damaged by misuse of the product. In this circumstance, your goods will be returned to you. The return shipping costs must be paid by you (your statutory rights will not be affected). Alternatively you may collect the goods from our trading premises.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Please note that the Advanced Rackets website does not currently have a live integrated stock system.

We do our best to ensure all products are available, but despite our endeavours, this is not always possible. If your order contains items that are out of stock, we will hold the order if stock to fulfill the order is expected to arrive within 7 working days. If you wish to cancel your order of items that are not in stock, we will refund the amount of cancelled goods within 30 working days of receiving notification of cancellation.

If stock does not arrive in 28 days of us receiving your order, we will notify you and refund the cost.

PERSONALISATION

Certain rackets are eligible for a grip and string upgrade. We offer free grip and string upgrades or paid grip and string upgrades depending on the racket. Paid upgrades have a marked price next to the selection and will be added on to the price of your order in the shopping cart. If you purchase a racket and have a grip upgrade, the grip will be applied over the top of the existing racket grip. If you purchase a racket and have a string upgrade, please ensure you also select the tension you would like the racket to be strung at. We recommend that the restring tension is strung within the recommended tension range of the racket. For any tension that exceeds the recommended tension range, we cannot guarantee the string and frame. If you choose to keep the factory string, we will not adjust the tension.

USER CONDUCT

Use of the website that causes, or is likely to cause, damage, interruption, or impairment is prohibited. Use of the webstie for any means that contravene local, national, or international law is prohibited.

We reserve the right to allow users to review products and leave comments on the website blog, and we reserve the right to remove this feature, and to remove individual reviews or comments, at any time. We expect users to be courteous when using these features. Abuse of these features (which can include but is not limited to spamming, advertising, offensive or abusive language in abstraction or directed at other users or persons) will not be tolerated and could result in reviews or comments being deleted and/or a temporary or permanent suspension of your user account.

"OUR REVIEW" SECTION

The "Our Review" section is based on the collective experience, input and opinion of our racket sport team and is intended to offer advice and guidance. We are confident in our ability to advise and guide our customers based on our history as a racket sport specialist, but we also recognise that there is no absolute right or wrong when it comes to providing advice and guidance, and that every player is different. The "Our Review" section may or may not be present on all product pages, and is intended to be used as general advice and guidance and is not a guarantee. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange (as detailed in the appropriate sections previously) based on any claims that you disagree with use and performance of the product as detailed in the "Our Review" section.
